Stained GlassAs we head into the cold, dark months, let’s add some color to be hung in your favorite window. During these classes, we will be making a corner stained glass piece approximately 11”x11” to be hung in the corner of a special window. This piece will be made with careful attention to making it “square” so that it hangs straight and fits exactly into your window. You will have the opportunity to select from a large variety of colors, cut and grind the glass, copper foil each piece and then solder the piece together. Finally, it will be framed in a zinc frame and will be ready to hang when you take it home. So come out and join us for some fun and don’t forget to bring: a ruler, pencil with eraser, eye protection, old soft rags, scissors, rubber gloves, 2 small plastic containers (i.e. pill bottles) and a small box (shoe box is great). Additional $45 supply fee will be collected at the first class (make check payable to Sallie Derr). Maximum 7 participants. INSTRUCTOR: Sallie Derr, Professional Stained Glass and Fused Glass Artist
