Join us on September 20th from 12:30pm-4:30pm for our exclusive Reach 4 the Stars Art in the Garden Party, held at the breathtaking Oxford Hill Manor, home of Jane and Mike Rice. This event will feature a guided tour of beautiful gardens, curated by Jane Rice. We will be joined by The Plein Air Painters of The Hanover Art Guild as well as Pianist Mike Brown and Flautist Melissa Henry. A luncheon buffet will be provided along with wine and a signature event cocktail. Participate in our live auction, with Gaines Auctioneers, to bid for amazing items and magical experiences, such as an Old Key West Disney trip! We will also have a silent auction where you can bid for family fun baskets, bobbi becker art prints, P. Buckley Moss art prints, gift baskets, jewelry and theatre tickets. Proceeds from this event will benefit Reach 4 the Stars Campaign for the Community to build a new community center on the border of eastern Adams and western York counties. About the Gardens
The gardens were originally designed by a professional landscape architect but quickly became Jane's passion. Her love of trees, sculptures, boulders, annuals, perennials and endless garden designs sometimes erupted on the spur of a moment! Jane's love of the arts supports artists young, old, well established and those just beginning their career. Many of the talents of these artists can be seen throughout the property. You will find a formal garden, a labyrinth, a bird sanctuary, elevated three level koi pond, an herb garden, and a cutting garden. Jane also has a small garden in honor of her mother who loved flowers and taught her at a young age to appreciate their beauty.
